October 7th Memorial Torah Mantel

Simchat Torah (October 7, 2023) is a day that will be forever etched in the hearts of the Jewish people. October 7, 2023 the date of the largest massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust.

To honor and memorialize the 1,200+ beautiful lives lost, The Chabad of Burlington Community will purchase a beautiful Torah Cover;

"Am Yisrael Chai" will be prominent on the front and a reference to those lost will be embroidered on it. 

We will use this (Torah cover) Mantel on Yom Kippur and Shemini Atzeret for Yizkor, and then dance with it on Simchat Torah.

We invite you to participate in this meaningful memorial project by donating any amount toward this communal Torah Mantel.
