Who are we?
We are a day camp offering summer sessions for children ages 2-12. At Camp Gan Israel, children enjoy a wide range of fun activities and field trips in a warm atmosphere, all the while enhancing their own Jewish identity. Most importantly, they develop lasting friendships with other children. Our campers look forward all year to returning!
Burlington & beyond
Located at the Chabad JCC in Burlington, campers enjoy activities at our home-base, as well as two field trips per week. We are planning a schedule of exciting activities to suit each age group for the 2010 camp season. This year’s program will include: instructed swimming, sports, special guests, crafts, funshops challah baking, shabbat parties and more.

Our preschool-age campers spend their day playing & learning in the Gan Yeladim Preschool space and playground. They splash in the sprinkler and kiddie pools and go on two field trips per week.
Staff
Camp Gan Israel is directed by Rabbi Yitzchok & Zeesy Raskin. Our experienced Lisa Ryan (director of Gan Yeladim Preschool) is returning to direct the Mini Gan Israel and Prachim programs. Our counselors are a group of energetic young women from Jewish communities around the world. They enrich each child’s experience with patience and love.
Swimming
Our schedule includes recreational swimming with an emphasis on swimming instruction. All aquatic activities are under supervision of experienced and certified Red Cross lifeguards and instructors, in addition to our regular camp staff. Safety is our primary concern.
Jewish Pride
Our campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in our heritage. Exciting hands-on activities, stories, games, contests, challah baking and Shabbat parties are all part of the unique Gan Israel experience.
PROGRAMS & AGES
Prachim (Ages 3-5)
The Prachim program offers an opportunity for children ages 3-5 to have a wonderful summer camp experience. The children are guided in organized activities, play & social skills by loving, patient and caring staff in a fully equipped classroom and unique outdoor playground.
